Renewing Your Benefits

Renew on time!

We don't want you or your family to lose your benefits.

Step 1: Check your mail.

About 60 days before you have to renew your Healthy Louisiana benefits, you’ll get a reminder letter from the Louisiana Department of Health. If you're unsure of your enrollment anniversary, the Medicaid Customer Service Unit can answer your questions about renewing your eligibility. Call 1-888-342-6207 for more information.

Step 2: When you get your letter, renew your benefits.

There are three ways to renew.

Renew online

The easiest and fastest way to renew! Visit the Healthy Louisiana website to renew now. .

Renew in person

Visit the Medicaid regional office in your parish.

Renew by phone

Call the Louisiana Department of Health at 1-888-342-6207 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Update your address or you will lose your benefits!

Have you moved? Be sure to let us know.

If the Louisiana Department of Health or Healthy Blue sends you something in the mail and it gets returned because you have moved, you will lose your Medicaid benefits. Call 1-844-521-6941 (TTY 711) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
